Healer in your Heart is only a moment away. I feel a Healing through this land. |
Healing of our pain. That's
what Runrig sings about. What do they mean? In some way every person feels
emotionally or spiritually hurt. This is not about broken bones but rather
about a certain inner brokenness. In "Hearts of olden glory" Runrig talks
of the healing power of the Scottish landscape which soothes after days under
bright stage lights. "The Healer in your Heart is only a moment away" is the message in "Healer in your Heart". |
A new dimension |

| A more intensive look into Runrig's texts opens up a completely new dimension to their way of thinking. Exactly where do they get this healing power from? | |
| There's
a vision coming soon through the faith that cleans your wound hearts of olden glory will be renewed. I feel a healing
|
It is not only the word "faith" which moves one here.
I find comfort in these words. The actual healing comes from the "cross for
a people". In these words I see the Man from Nazareth being touched on; the
man whom people say was crucified. Out of this bond springs the healing power
of which Runrig sings. And who is the "healer in your heart"? The first words of the song show me the way. The onlooker, standing on the edge of the world, whose thoughts do not grow darken even when all the lights go out - could that be God? Indeed, who else could be spoken of here? |
